Abstract

The article deals with the phenomenon of reputation and charisma of organizational leader from the perspective of cognitive psychology. The author analyzes the different scientific ideas concerning the structure of reputation of a leader and the peculiarities of its formation in perception of followers. Leader’s charisma is considered as a cognitive phenomenon. The author describes the essential characteristics (components) the leader’s charisma that increase the leadership potential of organizational and political leaders.
