Abstract

The article examines the features of the development of the thinking flexibility of high school students. Different points of view are formulated about the understanding of the development of flexibility of thinking. It was determined that, during the period of study, senior pupils are required to master the ability to apply their own knowledge in different cases, to rebuild standard methods of action, to understand other points of view, therefore, they have the flexibility of thinking. It should be noted that it is necessary to improve this quality in children from early childhood, since as a person grows older, convergent thinking is created in the personality, characterized in that it complicates the perception of multivariate, systematic and selective ideas. A place for solving problems related to Bernoulli numbers in the structure of developing the flexibility of thinking of high school students was also highlighted. The competencies of high school students, which are formed as a result of the development of the studied tasks, are examined. It is determined that the proposed tasks can serve as a means of increasing the mathematical culture, the flexibility of thinking of high school students.
