Abstract

The modern educational system is in the process of searching for new approaches to developing students’ teamwork skills and leadership qualities. One of such approaches is phygital sport, which combines physical activity with elements of digital technologies. The article examines the mechanisms by which phygital sport influences the development of interpersonal communications, the distribution of roles in a team, and leadership among students. The conducted experimental study showed that regular phygital sport classes contribute not only to the development of students’ physical abilities, but also to the improvement of teamwork skills, the distribution of responsibility, and the development of leadership qualities. The presented data suggest that phygital sport can be effectively integrated into the educational process.
