Abstract
The article examines the pedagogical features of the educational process for the development of leadership qualities. The given forms are methods and means, observance of which promotes the development of leadership qualities and prepares for leadership. Realizing the effective and practical potential, which is a set of knowledge, skills, qualities and abilities that are necessary for successful practical activities, the student feels the need to acquire certain leadership qualities due to their lack at different stages of activity. In practice, in the learning process, the activation of effective and practical potential is through methods that increase activity and interest among students, activate their creative thinking, the ability to think critically. Such methods include: business game, which simulates professional activities in the game. The use of business games in the learning process not only promotes the development of professional competencies of students, helps to analyze and interpret information, work in a group, but also helps to instill certain social skills and nurture proper self-esteem, which is the basis of leadership. Leadership qualities will develop more intensively in the organization of the educational process, which is based on the realization of effective and practical potential through group forms of interaction. Many factors contribute to the development of leadership qualities: motivational readiness, experience, education, various additional conditions in the life of the individual. Within the educational process, the teacher can choose methods, forms and means of learning that will require the development of leadership skills, provide new positive experiences and motivate personal change. A promising area of study of this topic is the empirical verification of trends identified in the theoretical plane.
