Abstract

The paper presents a laser monitor with independent illumination and a mirror imaging scheme based on an active medium on copper bromide vapors, which allows visualizing the surface of metal nanopowders during combustion. Independent laser illumination using a second active element based on copper bromide vapors can significantly increase the contrast of images compared to a laser monitor based on a single active element. This feature is advantageous when examining surfaces of materials with low light reflection. The paper also demonstrates the realization of a two-channel pulse generator for pumping active elements on copper bromide vapors based on one high-voltage power supply.
