Abstract
The presented work is part of a large study in the field of determining the main directions of training cadets and employees of penitentiary institutions to work with convicts of various categories, and in particular, with persons of juvenile age serving sentences in penitentiary institutions, in the aspect of studying the specifics of illegal behavior, the personality of this category of criminals and development of programs for their education and resocialization. As a result of the study, the authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop a comprehensive prevention system, the elements of which will be the stages of personal re-information and gradual reintegration into society, carried out by employees of the penitentiary system in close cooperation with representatives of law enforcement and public organizations.
