Abstract

Based on the analysis of federal legislation and law enforcement practice, the author examines the issues of protecting the rights of minors in alimony legal relations. It is concluded that despite the purposeful work of state bodies to ensure the right of citizens to receive alimony in a timely manner, a significant number of debtors on alimony obligations are avoiding financial responsibility. The article analyzes the latest legislative initiatives aimed at encouraging parents to conscientiously fulfill parental responsibilities for the maintenance of minor children. The necessity of improving the mechanisms for protecting the rights of minors in this area is substantiated.
