Abstract
Paramphistomatosis is a parasitic disease of ruminants caused by trematodes of the suborder Paramphistomata. The disease is prevalent in the Russian Federation, including the Far East, in wet areas where livestock graze on waterlogged pastures. The disease causes significant economic damage, including loss of milk, retardation in growth and development of young calves, and, if associated factors are present, the death of calves. Paramphistomatosis is constantly registered in the agricultural production cooperative "Khorolsky" in Primorsky Krai. Studies have been conducted on the therapeutic and economic efficiency of using the antihelminthic drugs Alben and Faskocid in the cooperative.
