Abstract

In the article, the author draws attention to the need to optimize the academic mobility of foreign students through the introduction into teaching practice of a rather new, for today, holographic approach. This approach refers to innovative approaches, the essence of which, according to the author, serves as a tool in organizing the educational process that can increase the effi ciency of the level of academic mobility, the quality of knowledge and the awareness of foreign students about Russian reality, culture and history. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the essence and content of the holographic approach, to identify its main components. The novelty of the research is justifi ed by the possibility of using a holographic approach in the process of African students’ knowledge of Russian history, culture, educational features, and everyday life. The use of the holographic approach contributed to improving the quality of knowledge and awareness of students about the Russian reality.
