Abstract

This study analyzed the contents of current tourism community business research by paying attention to tourism-related community businesses among many types of community businesses being studied in Korea. Among the studies on community business, a language network analysis was conducted to analyze keywords based on the research contents by selecting papers related to tourism. As a result of the analysis, the central keywords in the research method were case studies, visit surveys, questionnaires, literature studies, and interview surveys. In addition, the main keywords in the research contents were rural areas, tourism villages, sustainability, resident participation, and regional revitalization. Taken together, it can be seen that the forms of introducing tourism projects in rural areas are being explored to revitalize the region. However, there is a lack of research content in the form of converting the profits of the business, which is a core concept of community business, into jobs or returning them to public services in the community. In Korea, as research related to the tourism community business remains in its early stages, various studies by various researchers need to be attempted in the future. Especially, research on how to return profits to the community needs to be continued in the future.
