Abstract
The article is dedicated to the study of the role of innovative equipment as a factor in increasing the competitiveness of enterprises in the hotel and restaurant industry in the context of European integration. The research examines current trends in the hospitality industry, where political and economic changes are increasing competition, and shifting consumer preferences require businesses to continually improve and adapt. The issues related to the training of specialists focused on modern technologies, with developed skills and abilities to effectively implement innovative equipment in the activities of hospitality enterprises, are considered. Given the destructive factors that actively influence the activities of hospitality enterprises, an analysis of the profitability of the operational and overall activities of hotels and similar accommodation facilities, as well as restaurants, was conducted. This analysis vividly demonstrated a decline in the hotel business and possible development prospects for catering enterprises. The article analyzes the impact of innovative equipment on the economic efficiency of hotel and restaurant enterprises through cost optimization, improvement of service quality, attraction of investments, and increased competitiveness. Various aspects of the use of innovative equipment are also considered, including process automation, the use of the latest equipment and technologies in the culinary field, and interactive customer service technologies. The authors concluded that the implementation of innovative equipment is one of the key factors in improving the economic efficiency of hotel and restaurant enterprises. Further development and competitiveness in the globalized hospitality market require constant updating of technologies, equipment, and service methods, enabling enterprises to function effectively in the market and ensure customer satisfaction. Innovative equipment helps hotel and restaurant enterprises optimize costs, improve service quality, and carry out customer-oriented and economically efficient activities.
