Abstract
The role of managerial competences of Ukrainian higher education institutions' administration in ensuring higher education quality is theoretically substantiated. The main managerial competences of administrators of higher education institutions and their subdivisions, important for ensuring the quality of educational services in crisis conditions, are defined and highlighted. The main methodological approaches to the evaluation and self-evaluation of these institutions' administrators' managerial competences aimed at identifying their own strengths and weaknesses and determining the areas and means of personal development on this basis are proposed.
