Abstract
The article by Ukrainian ethnologist Olena Kondratyuk (Олена Володимирівна Кондратюк) is devoted to the structural-semantic analysis of the main themes of songs of the family cycle. Using archive materials and printed sources, we reveal the importance of song texts for the reconstruction of individual institutions of traditional kinship system.
