Abstract

In modern psychological science various diffi - cult and crisis life situations are an important object of scientifi c research and psychological practice. Defi ning loss as irretrievable loss or death, we can say that it becomes a turning point, a crisis event in a person’s life, as a result of which there is a change in his worldview, views on interpersonal relationships. Equally important is how a person reacts to loss. His behavior in such a situation is determined by a large number of external factors and individual characteristics. All of the above determines the importance of studying crisis situations, especially loss and grief, as a signifi cant aspect of the professional activity of modern psychologists.
