Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of the development of criminal punishment and other measures of a criminal-legal nature, which is considered through the prism of the method of the dominant paradigm. Special attention is paid to modern paradigms of criminal punishment and other measures of a criminal-legal nature. At the same time, the author notes that the Russian system of punishment and other measures of a criminal-legal nature has come to a period of its development, which can be called the period of paradigm shift.
