Abstract

Cosmetic products play an important role in the life of every person. Cream is the oldest and most common type of cosmetic product. Currently, cosmetic creams are the general name for scented creamy or liquid substances designed to soften, nourish, moisturize, refresh and protect the skin. Recently, cosmetic companies have been paying more and more attention to natural cosmetics. Such products contain only natural ingredients that are very beneficial for human skin. The use of essential oils has become very popular. They have not only a pleasant smell, but also many amazing healing properties that have not been reproduced in any cosmetic product. The peculiarity of essential oils is that they give both energetic and pharmacological effects, give harmony to the soul and body, help a person relax and restore strength. In addition, oils are rich in sources of vitamins, minerals, antibiotics and pheromones, all of which are naturally occurring. The range of application of essential oils is quite large: it is both the aromatization of rooms and taken baths, and the use in the composition of solutions for inhalation for the prevention and treatment of colds, as well as for changing the psycho-emotional state, such as increasing vigor, mental activity, relieving apathy or relaxation, and tranquility. In addition, essential oils have medicinal properties and are often used to prevent and treat many skin conditions. Due to their high penetrating power through the skin and their various cosmetic effects, essential oils are successfully used to improve the condition of the skin. The work investigated the possibility of creating a body cream with the addition of essential oils of the flower group as preservatives and determined the main indicators of the quality of the obtained cosmetics. The antimicrobial activity of the studied creams was assessed in air microflora using solid nutrient media.
