Abstract
According to the agile software development methodology, the ability to work in a team for developing software products is relevant for a future IT specialist. The possibility of organizing the activities of future IT specialists using the technology of compiling a backlog related to the Scrum methodology is discussed. An algorithm for preparing students for compiling a project backlog is proposed, including the stages at which students are divided into teams, specify the product backlog, prioritize tasks in sprint backlogs, develop and present versions of the software product, and refl on the results obtained.
