Abstract
The paper discusses the pressing problem of how to provide continuity of teaching at the primary and secondary stages of continuous education
 process. Using as an example the educational content of the “World Around Us” course for the primary school, designed with respect to cognitive
 abilities and cognitive needs of junior school children, the author demonstrates ways and methods to solve the vital task of developing biology
 education at the sequent stage of educational process.
