Abstract

This paper describes the challenges of teaching technological disciplines at high school and higher education levels. In particular four challenges are identified – participation motivation, motivation for cooperation, the need for feedback and the need for recognition. The strategies for answering these challenges are described as they were identified when teaching at university level, particularly taking into account the psychological peculiarities of the newer generation and using gamification techniques. A system for achievements and badges for unofficial channel feedback channel is described.
