Abstract

The article substantiates the effectiveness and feasibility of using audiovisual teaching aids in literature classes at the preparatory department for foreign citizens. It is noted that the use of audio and video materials, computer presentations allows to intensify and optimize the educational process, increase the motivation of foreign students to study the Russian language and literature, intensify their cognitive activity, promotes better memorization of the information received and its longer storage in memory. The advantages of authentic audiovisual teaching aids are revealed, and the need for their use already in the first literature classes is emphasized.
