Abstract
The article considers modern challenges to highereducation. The phenomenon of creativity is defined; the role of thecreative abilities of the individual as a factor in the success of a professionalis noted. The problems of creative perception and transformation of reality by lawyers are considered. The importance of linguistic courses for the formation of the creative abilities of law students is noted. Examples of the development of creative abilities offuture lawyers in the course of linguistic disciplines of the Central Russian Institute of Management, a branch of the RANEPA, are given.
