Abstract
The study was conducted on six physiologically and sexually mature females of Labrador Retriever breed. Algorithms of synchronization of sexual cycles in dogs were developed, optimal terms of embryo ejection were revealed taking into account species specifics of oogenesis and ovulation process. The method of embryo evaluation and the technique of embryo transfer to the recipient were modified for dogs. On the basis of the conducted research, a holistic technique of embryotransfer in the domestic dog was developed. This method was practically applied, resulting in the first successful procedure of embryotransfer in a dog in Russia with subsequent confirmation of its reliability by genetic testing.
