Abstract

In the context of the recent debate in our society about the quality of educational content in textbooks for the Bulgarian school, observations on modern publishing practice show an increasing trend towards the use of works with the so-called Creative Commons licenses. The restrictive nature of the doctrine of copyright, limiting the possibility of using a work created only to its author or to persons to whom he has explicitly given permission, through a copyright agreement, openly contradicts the dynamics of modern technological development.
