The Role of Islamic Education inAddressing Campus Violence fromthe Perspective of UniversityStudentsThis study aimed to identify therole of Islamic education inaddressing the phenomenon ofcampus violence from the perspectiveof university students, the studysample consisted of 270 students fromthe students of the Faculty of Sharia inJordanian universities, and theresearcher developed a questionnaireto measure the role of IslamicEducation in addressing thephenomenon of campus violence fromthe perspective of university students,the study found that there is a highdegree of the role of Islamic educationin addressing the phenomenon ofcampus violence from the perspectiveof university students as a whole. Thestudy showed the presence of highdegrees in the students attitudestowards violence (personalrelationships, psychologicalcharacteristics, and social forstudents), and a presence of a highdegree of violence against theproperty of the university (public,private). The study also concludedthat there were no statisticallysignificant differences at the level ofsignificance (α≤0.05) in the role ofIslamic education in addressing thephenomenon of campus violence fromthe perspective of university studentsattributed personal variables (gender,age, school year, the university'sname) The study recommended theneed to strengthen the contribution ofthe religious activities that reduceviolence, and the need to enhance thecognitive awareness associated withthe attack on university property
