Abstract

This paper is a study of speech portraits of two candidates for the post of the head of the Republic of Khakassia — V. O. Konovalov and S. M. Sokol from the position of linguopersonology, linguopragmatics and the emerging field of linguistics — linguopolitical personology, the object of study of which is the linguistic personality of a politician. In the course of the study, the features of speech portraits are revealed, the characterisation of lexical, stylistic means and communicative features of V. O. Konovalov and S. M. Sokol’s speeches are presented.
