Abstract
An analysis of the existing system for montoring the movement of brake shoes on railway transport was carried out. Problematic issues of safety and control of the movement of brake shoes have been identified, and ways to solve them have been proposed. The features of the functioning of the system are considered using the example of railway infrastructure facilities of October Railway RZhD.
