Abstract

The article analyzes the obtained results of the study of indicators of some commodity properties and evaluation of quality of female female mink of cellular breeding, obtained from animals with different intensity of invasion of eumeriosis. Infection of the female mink by eumeriosis is a significant reason for stopping the growth of young mink, as well as increasing its waste and changing the quality of the hair. The material for the study was the skins of female mink cellular breeding of the standard dark brown (STK) color type with various degrees of invasion from the animal husbandry of the Kaliningrad region of the North-Western region of the Russian Federation, divided into four experienced groups: the first group of pelts – from clinically healthy animals, the second group of pelts – from patients of mink with a low degree of invasion intensity, the third group of pelts – from patients with eumeriosis of mink with a medium degree of invasion, the fourth group of pelts are from highly invasive Mink eumeriosis patients. The analysis of the results of the study of indicators of natural and true length and thickness of hair, height and thickness of hair, area of female mink skins with different degrees of invasion is presented.
