Abstract

The article provides recommendations on teaching simple sentence syntax to foreign juridical students at the lessons of Russian as a foreign language at the Second Certificate Level. The authors argue that the students should develop competence in the following areas: principal and secondary, homogenous, isolated members of the sentence; one-member and two-member sentences; direct and reverse word order in the sentence. The paper provides examples from the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language in Ufa Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
