Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the issue of the transformations of P.A. Stolypin's agrarian reform, as well as a general assessment of the effectiveness of the work done. Raising the question of the effectiveness of the liberal transformations of land relations carried out in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century urgently requires focusing on one of its key components - P.A. Stolypin's agrarian reform. The legal consolidation of the basic provisions of the transformations initiated by P.A. Stolypin in the agrarian sphere allows us to identify the main normative legal acts that served as the basis for the transformations carried out. The article presents the author's approach to the consideration of P.A. Stolypin’s agrarian reform within of agrarian transformations of land relations in Russia, taking into account the legal and technical regulation of this process in various regulatory legal acts. The subject of the study is the system of documents that fixed the transformation of land relations in Russia within Stolypin's agrarian reform as a result of the research, the authors draw conclusions that within the work of the Third State Duma, it was P.A. Stolypin who became a symbol of the transformations of land relations carried out in a liberal way, maneuvering between the interests of reactionary circles and the liberal bourgeoisie.
