Abstract

In cattle breeding enterprises of the Vladimir region, regardless of the intensity of production and keeping technologies, cows exhibit violations of the reproductive cycle associated with an imbalance in mineral metabolism. Highly productive cows have rather low rates of commercial offspring, and the service period exceeded the general norm for Holsteinized black-and-white cattle. At the same time, the specific gravity of soils with an insufficient content for most agricultural forage crops for cattle in terms of cobalt – 95,8%, zinc – 81,9%, manganese – 63,8%, copper – 52,9% of the total arable area land. The performed gynecological clinical examination of lactating cows using mammological examinations and taking into account the geoprovincial characteristics of the Vladimir region, makes it possible to determine the nature of the prevailing pathology, to establish its main causes, and to present specific proposals for carrying out preventive and therapeutic measures based on the real capabilities of farms.
