Abstract

DOI:  https://doi.org/10.28925/2518-766X201611216 The article examines the relevance of a given problem and some of its patterns, in which the repertoire functions as a psycho-pedagogical factor in development of students’ interest to educational activities during the classes.Modern requirements for the level of professional training of the future teachers of artistic disciplines are directly related to the integration process between Ukraine and European Educational Area with the package of documents on the modernization of the higher education in Ukraine in the context of the Bologna Declaration. The main idea of this educational policy document is to renew content and forms of higher education, to find the ways of integration into the European Education Area preserving the best achievements of the national education system and artistic cultural traditions, etc. In this context the problem of maintaining such a mass and most affordable for children and youth type of music art as vocal and choral performance is actualized, and professional training of future music teachers is based on its background. The subject of the article is to highlight the importance of choral art, including artistic and pedagogical selection of the repertoire which will help to train students-musicians, place the foundations of art culture and create a harmonious personality as future music teachers and students of all ages. As to the object of the article according to the latest requirements for the higher professional education, we consider it is necessary to examine the issue as a condition of formation of future music teachers’ professional competence.
