Abstract
The article examines the psychological characteristics of the professional masterliness of district police offi cers. The article presents the results of an empirical study using a comparative analysis on the example of Russian Federation and Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Differences in personality and psychological characteristics and professionally important qualities were identifi ed. The results of the study are signifi cant in ensuring the professional and personal development.
