Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of professional training of students-choreographers of higher educational institutions in the course of studying the discipline “Theory and Methods of Teaching Classical Dance”. The problem of a competent approach, which is the basis for the training of future specialists, involves the development in the individual of the ability to orient in a variety of difficult situations, the ability to predict the results of their activities and be responsible for them, to quickly switch from one type of activity to another, combinіng the performance of different functions. The essence of the concepts “vocational training”, “competent approach” is revealed. The main normative documents for providing of the educational process of professional choreographic preparation of higher education applicants are defined. The content of vocational training of students-choreographers’ is determined by the educational-professional program 024 "Choreography" of the institution of higher education, which defines the list of educational components of the cycle of general and vocational training, program competences and learning outcomes, defines the requirements for the content, volume and level of educational-professions choreography. Special (special, subject) competences and learning outcomes acquired by higher education students in the course of studying the theory and methods of teaching classical dance have been determined. In the research the questions of independent preparation of students-choreographers for the lesson of classical dance, their understanding of peculiarities of structural construction and content of the discipline “Theory and Methods of Teaching Classical Dance” at different stages of study are actualized. The content and structural components of classical dance lesson construction are analyzed. It has been determined that the lesson of classical dance in higher educational institutions consists of four main structural components: exersis at the machine, exerissis in the middle of the hall, adagio and allegro. Each part of the classical dance lesson has its own tasks, aimed at solving of the overall goal of the lesson and at creating of a basis for further development and improvement of the educational material.
