Abstract

The subject-matter of the study was ontological and epistemological aspects of the theological problem of the filioque, and the research methods were logical-linguistic analysis and graphic modelling of these aspects of this problem, in particular the construction of theological analogues of logical squares and hexagons. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the mentioned non-trivial analogues are constructed for the first time; they have not been published anywhere before. The results of the study are important in the formation of the theoretical philosophical and linguistic foundations for overcoming the doctrinal split of the Universal Church into the Western and Eastern ones.
