Abstract

This chapter contextualizes project-based language learning (PBLL) within project-based learning (PBL) and discusses the philosophical and theoretical foundations that have historically guided the approach. It then follows this with an overview of the chapters in the book, addresses the significance of the research described in its pages, and finishes with implications and encouragement for further research and practice.
