Abstract

Outlined main prerequisites of this formation, among which. The determining factor was the development of the city as an important industrial center in southern Ukraine. In Yelisavetgrad at that time was created one of the largest in Kherson province enterprise Elworthy for the manufacture of agricultural machinery, where it was successfully implemented elements of art and industrial education for workers.Simultaneously socio-economic development of Yelisavetgrad, population growth as well contributed expansion network of training centers. Began to form and specialized vocational schools for training a large number qualified specialists, which needed a rapidly developing industry. There was a growing need for trained master painters, draftsmen for many industries. Care about creation specialized art institutions manifested zemstvo institutions, private individuals and society itself.The contribution is considered Literacy and Crafts Society in formation art and industrial education in the region and its role in the socio-cultural development of the city. It is determined that in Yelisavetgrad the main center of art and industrial education became, Evening drawing and design classes, who operated at the Yelisavetgrad Zemsky Real School. Every year they produced more than a hundred professional craftsmen with design training. So was created pedagogical conditions for quality artistic development of students, where it was given important complementarity of fine and architectural arts.
