Abstract

The materials published in the article by Ukrainian ethnologist Volodymyr Shchybria (Володимир Васильович Щибря) examine local traits and qualities of the outer clothing on the Podniprovia near the end of the 19th – middle 20th CC. It analyses the various types of shirts, methods of construction, as well as embroidery techniques specific to this region during the times of actual period.
