Abstract
The article proposes the development of artificial intelligence technologies and the development of specialized research tools for ways to enhance the capacity of the direction based on the creation of a digital twin of a real railway section of the North Caucasus Railway with heavy freight and passenger traffic in the direction of the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin and resorts in Southern Russia. The task of intelligent (neural network) control of the transportation process is actualized, the problems of modeling complex objects are disclosed and the subtasks of conducting an experiment on the choice of control actions for operational capacity increase on a railway section are formed.
