Abstract
On the basis of the analysis of applicable methods and algorithms for calculating the loss of profit in different spheres of activity the algorithm of lost profit determination in the sphere of passenger traffic according to the statistical data for situations when a vehicle idling or its removal from the line by the fault of "third persons" was formed. Practical application of the proposed algorithm for calculating the lost profits will simplify the process of proving the lost profits forcing the buses on the line or removing them from the trip due to the fault of «third parties».
