Abstract

The most effective ways to learn a foreign language is to communicate with a native speaker. Attracting foreign teachers to the process of teaching foreign languages becomes more accessible in modern realities of the higher vocational education. Higher schools in Russia are interested in collaboration with foreign teachers, as they are language native speakers and culture. However, along with the undoubted advantages of having a native speaker in the teaching staff of the university, there are also disadvantages that can demotivate students to study a foreign language. To do the process of learning a foreign language with a native speaker involvement the most effective, it becomes necessary to pay closer attention to peculiarities of teaching a foreign language under a native speaker involvement. The article discusses the most obvious advantages and disadvantages of organizing and carrying out language exchange with native speakers, offers recommendations for teachers who work in tandem with a native speaker.
