Abstract

This article discusses translation diversification as a process in which two or more translations of literary work are created. The result of this process is translation diversivity — a phenomenon that represents variability/invariance in the translation of the original unit. The author’s typologies of translation diversification and translation diversivity are proposed, allowing to identify translation transformations, to determine the translation potential of the unit of the original text.
