Abstract

The paper proposes methodology of teaching argumentative essay to the Adyghe- Russian bilingual students. The article considers the problem of native language interference, analyzes typical mistakes made by the Adyghe-Russian bilingual students in the Unified State Russian Exam, justifies the necessity to use special methodological techniques (comprehensive text analysis, writing a short essay) which allow training the Adyghe-Russian bilingual students for the Unified State Russian Exam essay. The authors contribute to the methodology of teaching Russian to bilingual students (clarify the notion “interference”, reveal the notion “special methodological principles of teaching Russian in a multi-ethnic region”, suggest methodological techniques which allow overcoming native language interference), and herein lies scientific originality of the study. The research findings are as follows: the authors justify the necessity to renew the methodology of training the Adyghe-Russian bilingual students for the Unified State Russian Exam essay.
