The article presents some results of the author's sociological research on the problems of the formation of the all-Russian identity of youth in the context of new social challenges and opportunities, conducted within the framework of the project "Youth in interethnic communications: tolerance, tolerance, dialogue" in 2021 and 2022. The focus of this work is youth as a period of self–determination ("I am the concept" and "I am the Image") and self-determination in society ("We are the concept" and "We are the Image"). The authors consider the problems of formation and strengthening of the all-Russian identity of youth in the context of perception and attitude of the image of Russia in the present and future. The subject area of the study is the peculiarities of the identification of perception with Russians; the Russian people; the Russian state; the present and future of Russia; Russian culture (civilization), Homeland (Fatherland). The semantic and phono-semantic content of the attitude of Russian youth to these images is analyzed. The peculiarities of the attitude of young people to the national goals broadcast by the states as the basis for constructing the image of Russia of the future are revealed. The author characterizes the goals-integrators of Russia of the future in the ideas of the youth itself, as well as the prospects and degree of social subjectivity in the conditions of new social challenges for Russian society.
