<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Objective.</strong> Analysis of the main methodological and theoretical directions in social psychology developed by Professor Galina Mikhailovna Andreyeva, one of the founders of Russian social psychology; consideration of the key problems of modern social psychology. <br><strong>Background. </strong>The vectors of scientific knowledge identified by G.M. Andreyeva and the problems she developed in the field of social psychology have become general methodological principles in various fields of psychological science. Among them there are the problems of joint activity and communication, which have become the basis for the study of social groups and personality. A fundamental principle of the new paradigm of social psychology offered by G.M. Andreyeva, – the issues of the influence of the social context and the influence of social changes on the formation (construction) of a person's world image and his social behavior. Significant moments in the field of social cognition created by G.M. Andreyeva are highlighted. The potential of her main ideas in modern psychology is shown. The main biographical data of Galina Andreyeva are presented, showing her life path and significant for the creation of the G.M. Andreyeva School of Social Psychology at Moscow University. <br><strong>Methodology.</strong> The article uses methods of deductive analysis; methods of historical and psychological hermeneutics. <br><strong>Conclusions.</strong> The main scientific ideas of G.M. Andreeva not only became the theoretical and methodological basis for understanding and explaining the fundamental problems of socio-psychological knowledge, but also made a huge contribution to understanding the ongoing social changes.</p>

The Role Of Hedonic Motivation Mediating The Effect Of Augmented Reality Marketing On Buying Intention (Study of the Loreal Paris Brand in Indonesia on the Shopee Application)

This study examines the effect of augmented reality-based marketing on consumer purchase intention, with hedonic motivation acting as mediation. In the context of L'Oreal Paris cosmetic products sold on the Shopee platform. This study uses a sample of 110 respondents with 11 indicators to fill out a questionnaire to raise the relevance of augmented reality technology in enhancing a more immersive online shopping experience, namely the merging of the real and digital worlds and the personal world, which can significantly affect consumer purchase intentions. Through the use of the Virtual Try-On AR feature in Shopee, consumers can see the application of cosmetic products virtually on their faces, which not only enhances product information but also provides a fun and satisfying shopping experience. Data was collected from Shopee users in Denpasar, Bali, who have used this augmented reality feature and analyzed using a quantitative approach. The results showed that hedonic motivation plays an important role in mediating the relationship between augmented reality marketing and purchase intention, signifying that emotional satisfaction from the augmented reality experience increases the likelihood of purchase. This research provides valuable insights for digital marketing and e-commerce practitioners to optimize augmented reality strategies in increasing consumer purchase intention. By understanding the effects of augmented reality marketing through hedonic motivation, brands can more effectively design user experiences that are not only informative but also entertaining and emotionally satisfying, thereby increasing consumer purchase intentions.

Folklore-based storytelling: counseling techniques to develop happiness in children

The purpose of this study was to increase the level of children's happiness using Folklore-Based Storytelling, which develops ideogenous values in the implementation of counseling interventions. Happiness is defined as a state of joy and peace free from all problems. Storytelling is an extraordinary ability in storytelling that functions to entertain children's life values. The use of the folklore approach is based on the fact that almost all ages like stories that are told orally. The research method used is a mixed method approach with a sequential exploratory design. Qualitative design using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) explores how individuals understand their personal and social world through a detailed examination of their lives's experiences. The quantitative research design used is a single subject. The results of the qualitative analysis concluded that happiness according to the subject refers to the state of acceptance, attention, imagination, dreams, hopes, feelings of security, feelings of being loved, recognition, praise, appreciation, self-involvement, being heard. While the results of the feasibility test technique showed that the PND test results showed 5 points above the horizontal line PND is from 5 points of the intervention phase. This shows that the storytelling technique is very effective in developing children's happiness. Storytelling with a folklore approach is believed to be able to bring out happiness in children.

Mediator Narration of Memory: US Presidents’ Autobiographies and the Narration of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, 1993–2012

The main argument of the paper is that we should examine mediator-narrative as an agency in narrative construction of memory during conflict. It demonstrates how despite the differences between the US presidents’ personal world views, their strategic narrations of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are strikingly similar. These selective narratives strengthen the image of the US as a peacemaker and benevolent global leader. This narration is achieved by sidelining the detrimental role of the Israeli settlements and security threats, especially the increasing influence of Hamas in the Gaza-Strip. Therefore, this resilient mediator-narrative prevents critical thinking on the conflict and encourages a duplication of such policies.

P169 Optimising self-management in axial spondyloarthritis: a qualitative exploration of patient perspectives

Abstract Background/Aims In the UK, people living with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) will see their rheumatology team once a year, or less during routine clinical practice. Providing patients with the knowledge, tools and resources to confidently self-manage their condition is therefore an important component of patient care. The 2022 NICE Impact Arthritis report indicates that education and non-pharmacological treatment is lacking, making long-term self-management difficult for patients. Development of effective self-management interventions requires a deep understanding of the psychosocial context of people living with axSpA and the challenges they face when managing the practical, physical and psychological impacts of axSpA. This study therefore aimed to collect rich qualitative data from people living with axSpA to understand their experiences living with and managing their condition. Methods Online surveys were designed in alignment with guidance from Braun et al., (2021), regarding online surveys as a qualitative research tool. Open-ended questions were prioritised to collect rich qualitative data. Surveys were distributed via patient organisations and Twitter. Responses were collected via the Jisc online surveys platform from July 2022-January 2023. Results were interpreted using inductive reflexive thematic analysis. Results Data were collected from 30 axSpA participants, with varying durations of diagnosis (<1 year to > 20 years). 70% of respondents were female, and all participants were aged 25-84 years. Over half (63.3%) had experienced symptoms for ≥10 years before diagnosis. Three themes were generated from the qualitative data. Theme 1) Personalised, flexible approach: AxSpA is a heterogenous, fluctuating, unpredictable condition, thus requiring a personalised, flexible approach to self-management. Optimal self-management requires a deep understanding and acceptance of one’s own condition and symptoms, to effectively self-regulate emotions and behaviour and communicate changing needs in response to fluctuating symptoms. Theme 2) Making the invisible, visible: people living with axSpA often have no visible disability, and can struggle to feel seen and believed, especially if experiencing diagnostic delay and lacking education about axSpA. Feeling supported, believed and understood is critical for disease acceptance and feeling confident and able to engage with positive health behaviours and communicate needs, versus isolation, inner conflict, guilt and suffering through a “personal world of pain”. Theme 3) Coping with fatigue and pain: fatigue and pain are the most challenging aspects of the condition to manage, due to their unpredictability and impact on emotional resilience, autonomy, and motivation or ability to perform self-care behaviours. Conclusion Optimal self-management in axSpA requires early diagnosis, education and reassurance from healthcare professionals, including guidance for communicating with friends, family and colleagues about axSpA, and signposting to patient organisations/communities. Self-management interventions should target fatigue, pain and disease acceptance, and support patients to gain a deep understanding of their own condition to identify personalised, flexible self-care strategies that work for them. Patent Spectrum of Human Digital Twins

Although no "absolute" definition exists, a human digital twin (HDT) may be defined as a virtual physiological copy or counterpart in digital world of a real person existing in the physical world having active connection between the human and his corresponding twin in metaverse. The current study aims to explore the intellectual property rights (IPR) challenges of HDTs. Previously discussions on HDT have mostly focused their potential use in health system for predictions of diseases nearly ignoring the patent associated with them. Current study highlights patent landscape analysis of HDT indicating current trends in HDT patents and future scenario of this technology.

Folklore Elements in the Poetry of Ekaterina Kletnovaya

The article is devoted to one of the characteristic features of the poetic works of E.N. Kletnova (1869–1938), whose literary work is still not known to the general public and has not previously become the subject of a comprehensive philological study. Poems by E.N. Kletnova are filled with various folklore elements − syntactic constructions and language formulas, lexical means of expression, compositional elements (introduction to a song and song), epic images. The author especially actively resorts to folklore stylization when creating poems on general cultural and political topics, trying to give them a folk-epic sound. In the course of the study, the following methods were used: a comparative-stylistic method to establish the similarities and
 differences in the language design of E.N. Kletnova and folklore genres; a structural method for analyzing the specific structure of the text; a conceptual analysis to reveal the picture of the world of the author's linguistic personality; a descriptive method.
 It was concluded that folklore elements in the poetry of E.N. Kletnova, firstly, are a reflection of her scientific, primarily ethnographic studies; secondly, they are used to create a special native Russian flavor in the poetic disclosure of vital social topics;
 thirdly, they express the interest in mythological antiquities and folklore tradition characteristic of the Silver Age.

The purpose of the article is an attempt to analyze the results of the activities of domestic researchers of the history of Soviet everyday life (historians, ethnologists, cultural scientists, anthropologists, sociologists, art critics), which were presented at seven all-Ukrainian scientific and theoretical seminars of the series «Everyday Life: Visions and Meanings», held at Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University M. Kotsyubynskyi during 2015-2023. The research methodology is based on a combination of general scientific, special-historical and interdisciplinary methods and tools of socio-cultural analysis. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that it attempts a primary (self) analysis and generalization of the local experience of the problematization of the Soviet past through the lens of everyday life. Conclusion. The initiative of the scientists of the Center for the Study of Everyday History of the Faculty of Vinnytsia Pedagogical University was launched in the context of the beginning of Russian aggression as a response to the request for an in-depth historical-anthropological and socio-cultural study of the (un)completed Soviet past through the visions and meanings of the life world of an ordinary Soviet person. Researchers of leading scientific institutions and higher educational institutions of Ukraine actively responded to the proposal of a scientific and theoretical dialogue between specialists. Some summaries of the journey can be expressed in several theses. First, the choice of topics for each subsequent seminar was not arbitrary. It is determined, on the one hand, by specific public requests and the professional readiness of researchers, and on the other hand, it arose from the specific interdisciplinary work of each previous seminar. Secondly, in Ukraine as result, a stable core of qualified researchers of the Soviet past from various scientific fields has formed, to which new generations of researchers are interested. Systematic scientific dialogues contributed to the expansion of the subject field of Soviet everyday life, deepened and improved the methodology of its study, significantly for the development of an adequate understanding and interpretation of the Soviet past.

WORK LIFE BALANCE: STUDI FENOMENOLOGI PADA LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN

In an era of globalization that continues to develop with increasingly fierce competition, the teaching and academic profession has become a key element in ensuring the sustainability of a country's educational aspects. Teachers and academics in the field of education are individuals who have a big responsibility to lead educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, in providing education to students from generation to generation. The balance between work and personal life, often referred to as work-life balance, has become an increasingly important topic in discussions about workplace well-being. This research aims to deepen the analysis of teachers and academics in their efforts to achieve balance between demanding work lives and diverse personal lives. Through a phenomenological approach, we will explore the world of teachers and academics from their own perspective, understanding their feelings, thoughts and experiences in facing these challenges. Based on the results of this research, it shows that work life balance in the teaching profession and academics who work in the educational environment can be achieved with various supporting and inhibiting factors. Primarily, the biggest supporting factor in achieving work-life balance is determined by self-management in dividing needs in the world of work and in the personal world such as home and family. This self-management certainly cannot be measured by the same standards because of the similarities between the teaching and academic professions, between one individual and another individual who has different backgrounds, positions and responsibilities. Therefore, the work life balance expected for each individual is certainly different from one individual to another.

The objective of this article is to establish effective strategies for promoting motivation and commitment in learning from virtual university environments, for which, in the first instance, a bibliographic search is carried out on studies that expose activities and methodologies that build improvements in the aspects of analysis from platforms and the use of digitality in university teaching; Secondly, a categorization of the information collected in the studies is established so that functional strategies are selected for the motivation and commitment of university teaching; In the third instance, an analysis is constructed on the way in which these strategies and proposals for pedagogical application help to energize knowledge and practice it effectively in the student. Thus, a qualitative investigation is implemented to prepare a review of the literature that allows the examination of facts from previous studies and with this, an analysis is built around effective strategies that enhance the motivation for knowledge and the commitment to knowledge from the virtual environment. In conclusion, a discussion is proposed about the effectiveness of strategies in the university environment so that it is beneficial for the student's work and personal world

Meta-emotion philosophy in teachers from kindergarten to middle school

The present study further investigated the role of teachers as emotional socializers by exploring both the theoretical and the empirical applicability of the construct of meta-emotion philosophy in teachers coming from kindergarten to middle-school. Specifically, we first aimed to test the psychometric properties of a specific tool to assess meta-emotion philosophy (i.e., the Crèche Educator Emotional Style Questionnaire - CEESQ, originally developed for early childhood educators). The second aim was to explore whether the associations between the dimensions provided by the CEESQ were in line with the meta-emotion philosophy framework. 815 female teachers (mean teaching experience = 20.08 years, SD = 10.84 years) from kindergarten to middle school took part to the study. The original 5-factor structure of the CEESQ was confirmed (i.e., three factors related to how teachers approach students’ emotions and perceive their self-efficacy as emotional socializers, and two factors related to how they recognize and approach their own emotions in daily life). Moreover, the CEESQ factors showed several significant interrelations, especially considering the correlations between teachers’ self-efficacy as socializers toward students’ emotions and teachers’ perceptions of their own personal emotional competence. Emerged results indicated the usefulness to expand the construct of meta-emotion philosophy from parenting to student-teacher relationship in order to reach a more comprehensive understanding of the role of teachers as emotional socializers; moreover, they suggest the need for including in teachers’ pre-service and ongoing education a specific attention to promote awareness about the strict connection between personal emotional world and emotion-related educational practices adopted toward students.

Idioms of the Kyrgyz and Arabic Languages, Conveying Negative Human Qualities

Phraseological expressions in the Kyrgyz and Arabic languages, expressing the internal qualities of a person and his negative qualities from the inside — belonging only to his personal inner world, which cannot be felt or seen from the outside: anger, stinginess, greed, laziness, cunning, etc. are reflected here. Phraseological means expressing the negative qualities of a person, his positive character, his numerical abundance of phraseological units expressing their quality, the diversity of their semantic nature, the abundance of their stylistic evaluative properties and their originality are reflected in this article.

THE VARIETY OF «POSSIBLE WORLDS» AS THE MAIN SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURE OF MODERN YOUTH SOCIALIZATION

Centre for System Analysis and Strategic Research, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus The article deals with the actual problem of socialization of modern youth from the point of view of such a socio-psychological feature as the presence of «possible worlds» affecting young people.The life world of a modern young person is formed in the conditions of the existing variety of «possible worlds», each of which has one or another influence on the socialization of young people. The purpose of the study is to build the initial typology of such «possible worlds». The author of the article gives numerous interpretations of scientists from various fields of knowledge about the artistic world, the external and internal worlds, about the virtual and real, about the world of models and simulacra, and many others. A multidimensional picture of the worlds surrounding modern youth is being created and providing ample opportunities for the realization of creative abilities, the accumulation of knowledge, the mastery of various skills and abilities, the formation of competencies. The socio-psychological conditions of socialization provided by modernity are designed to create a versatile, creative personality capable of adapting to the rapidly changing conditions of modern society.

How self‐injury affects psychotherapists: A qualitative study

AbstractIntroductionInterpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) is used to explore how people make sense of their personal and social world, although a search of recent literature suggests that it has not been applied to better understand self‐injury (SI). The goal of this paper was to employ an IPA methodology to gain a deeper understanding of the impact witnessing the physical manifestations of SI has on therapists.MethodThe study recruited a purposive sample of nine English‐speaking psychotherapists. Questions designed to relate to the participant's experience of witnessing the physical manifestations of SI were piloted with non‐participating psychotherapists whose experience matched those of the sample. Individual interviews were conducted by the primary researcher.Data AnalysisAnalysis involved the hermeneutic circle, moving between the part and the whole to capture and record the unique experience of the individual participants. This entailed the following: reading and re‐reading the transcripts; initial noting; developing emergent themes; connecting emergent themes; and pattern identification across cases.ResultsTwo superordinate themes were identified that encapsulated how participants experienced, perceived and understood their own reactions to clients’ SI presentation. The first, Shock, included the subordinate themes of Controlling reactions, Managing physical revulsion, Therapeutic holding and Revisiting and ruminating. The second, Responsibility, included the subordinate themes of Client responsibility, Professional responsibility, Personal responsibility and Responsibility for hope.ImplicationsImplications relate to core training for psychotherapists, the focus on continuing professional development, and the policies and procedures needed to support psychotherapists.

Racial ideology, system justification, and just world belief in African Americans.

Just world belief and system justification have previously been proposed to explain actions and beliefs of disadvantaged groups, but rarely together and never simultaneously in participants of color. A necessary expansion of work in this area is among African-American participants with differing views of race and how those views influence justice perceptions. Racial ideologies, used in African-American racial identity research, were studied as possible predictors of belief in a just world and system justification scores. The four racial ideologies examined in this study are assimilationist, humanist, nationalist, and oppressed minority. The current study examines belief in a just world and system justification as predicted by racial ideology. Participants (n = 261) responded to an online survey containing racial ideology items from the Multidimensional Model of Racial Identity (MMRI), the General and Personal Just World Scales, and the General System Justification Survey. Hierarchical linear regression was conducted, finding that nationalist ideology significantly predicted system justification and general just world belief.

The article considers the work of independent artists of the 1960s and 1980s, rethinking the heritage of the avant-garde. In the unofficial art discourse, the ideas of the beginning of the XX century represent symbolic capital, significant for artists in the formation of new techniques. The appeal to the avant-garde tradition unites various regional schools of non-conformism in an effort to create a synthesis of contemporary artistic practices and art of the past. Unofficial art unites representatives of different disciplines, were separated from public ac-tivities due to long censorship. The creative and conceptual searches of the artists expressed a disconnect be-tween personal, emotional and inner world of artistic thinking in the late 1950s, tired of operating a single sys-tem. The appeal to the avant-garde tradition unites various regional schools of non-conformism in an effort to create a synthesis of contemporary artistic practices and art of the past. Moscow nonconformists developed a conceptual direction, representatives of the Leningrad underground experimented with methods of metaphysi-cal painting and abstract art, ideas of decorative symbolism were preserved in the works of Saratov noncon-formists. Interacting with the avant-garde, nonconformists form a unity of figurative and abstract painting, a dis-tinctive feature of unofficial art.

Green Spaces as Healthy Places: Correlates of Urban Green Space Use in Singapore.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when stress levels were heightened and social connections were threatened, a spike in green space visits was observed. Drawing upon the value-belief-norm (VBN) theory, which explains the influence of personal values and world view on perceived obligations to the environment and to action, relevant correlates were examined in relation to people's psychological wellbeing in a bid to better elucidate this phenomenon. We aimed to explore the associations amongst a number of protective factors for psychological wellbeing and to examine the applicability of the VBN theory to wellbeing rather than environmental behaviour. Our research aim was to understand some of the correlates of the use of urban green spaces in Singapore during COVID-19. In total, 268 adult residents of Singapore completed an online survey measuring proximity/frequency of visits to green space, value orientations, nature connectedness, social connectedness, religious belief, spirituality and psychological wellbeing, along with sociodemographic variables such as age and gender. As predicted by the VBN theory, biospheric value orientation and spirituality were positively associated with nature connectedness. The nature connectedness association with psychological wellbeing was completely mediated by spirituality. Frequency of visits to nature was also positively associated with nature connectedness. Neither proximity to nature nor social connectedness were associated with nature connectedness. An altruistic value orientation was associated only with religious belief. Our results indicate that during uncertain times, people are drawing on either social or nature connections as coping mechanisms to fulfil psychological needs and enhance psychological wellbeing. Spirituality mediates this pathway for nature connectedness but not for social connectedness.

What is Distinctive of Film Emotions?

Film emotions are genuine emotions whose formation and development is affected by conflictive factors. Whereas their arousal, similar to that of real-life emotions, is disproportionately strengthened by the cinematographic medium, their subsequent course is both weakened and interrupted. Their objects, which I view as members of our personal emotional world (not in terms of their supposed fictionality, as often assumed), are also proper intentional objects of emotions: our fear is about the shark on the screen, our pity about the main character. This view allows also for an explanation of two of film emotions’ neglected features: (a) the viewer's emotional attachment and empathy toward film objects and (b) the long-lasting emotional impact films can have on viewers.
