ABSTRACTThis is a description of a program instituted to fulfill the “Orientation” component of the Work Incentive Program, (WIN) but adapted to meet the realities and needs of a medium‐sized community. In the course of adaptations, certain elements of group counseling have been incorporated which have contributed substantially to the aims of the WIN Program. The salient features are identified for the purpose of illustrating what can be done at the local level.
