Therapists are eager for effective methods to treat women's sexual issues that are either caused or compounded by personal an/d/or systemic issues. the sexual crucible® approach readily addresses these common problems through a paradigm shift from dysfunction based approaches. Through case example and specific interventions employing the crucible® approach, this presentation will demonstrate using the differentiation process to resolve women's sexual difficulties and enhance their sexual and emotional connection with committed partners. the speaker will demonstrate how to encourage female clients to develop anxiety tolerance rather than anxiety avoidance with issues of sexual dissatisfaction. The speaker will explain therapeutic interventions that foster self-development for women who feel pressured to conform to their partner's limitations or expectations. the presentation will detail the steps that clients took that led to a more differentiated stance, greater ability to self-soothe and increased sexual satisfaction with partner. the crucible® approach is a powerful tool for addressing women's dissatisfaction with their sexual experiences. this presentation gives a brief overview of differentiation theory that leads to usefultherpaeutic interventions that improve women's sexual functioning and satisfaction.
