The quasipotential method allows to regard theK-dependence ofQ(t, K) in detail. A new simple ansatz for the quasipotential is given, which describes all important features of the interaction potentials and may be integrated to yield a simple analytic expression for the phase function. The essential quantities of the latter are explicitly computed with their dependence upon energy and the potential parameters. Thus, the total cross section is given by a simple final formula including the glories. For all terms the high-energy 1/K expansion can be derived. The cross section formulae facilitate the determination of interatomic interactions.
