Research on Non-heritage Cultural Innovation and Inheritance Based on AI Visual Technology in the Perspective of New Quality Productivity

Under the new quality productivity perspective, artificial intelligence (AI) visual technology provides new opportunities for the innovation and inheritance of non-heritage culture. The Grass Dragon of Lizhuang, as a unique cultural treasure of Lizhuang Town, Cuiping District, Yibin City, not only carries a profound historical and cultural heritage, but also shows the traditional wisdom and creativity of the Chinese nation with its unique art form and production process. In this paper, we will take the Grass Dragon dance of Lizhuang Town, Cuiping District, Yibin City as an example to explore how to use AI visual technology to promote the digital transformation and dissemination of non-heritage culture. The study first analyses the current situation of the innovative inheritance of non-heritage culture in the case of the Grass Dragon in Lizhuang, and then introduces the significance of the innovative inheritance of non-heritage culture based on AI visual technology in the perspective of the new quality productivity, as well as the measures of the innovative inheritance of non-heritage culture based on AI visual technology. Through case studies, the paper shows how these technologies can enhance public awareness and participation in NRH culture, thus promoting the protection and inheritance of NRH culture. Finally, the study points out the challenges faced in practical application and proposes corresponding solutions, emphasising the importance of the deep integration of technology and culture in the innovation of non-heritage culture. The study provides new perspectives and practical paths for promoting the combination of traditional culture and modern technology.

The Therapeutic Management of Chemical and Herbal Medications on Uric Acid Levels and Gout: Modern and Traditional Wisdom

Background: Gout is a chronic inflammatory condition characterized by elevated uric acid levels in the blood, which can precipitate acute gout attacks in individuals with genetic susceptibility, existing medical conditions, and dietary influences. Genetic predispositions, comorbid medical conditions, nutritional choices, and environmental factors increasingly recognize the multifactorial etiology of the disease. Methods: Recent research has highlighted the potential of phytochemicals, particularly flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids, to manage hyperuricemia (HUA) and its associated complications. Results: Plant’s natural compounds have garnered attention for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and uric acid-lowering properties, suggesting their role in alternative and complementary medicine. Phytochemicals have demonstrated promise in mitigating gout symptoms and potentially modifying the disease course by addressing different aspects of hyperuricemia and inflammation. Herbal remedies, with their complex phytochemical profiles, offer a unique advantage by potentially complementing conventional pharmacological treatments. The integration of herbal therapies with standard medications could lead to enhanced therapeutic outcomes through synergistic effects, optimizing disease management, and improving patient quality of life. Conclusions: This review examines the current understanding of the multifaceted etiology of gout, explores the role of phytochemicals in managing hyperuricemia, and discusses the potential benefits of combining herbal remedies with conventional treatments to improve patient care and therapeutic efficacy.

Ancient Indian epistemology and modern cognitive science: Exploring vedic insights in contemporary thought processes

Background: This article explores the connections between the concept of anviksiki in Hindu philosophy and theories in cognitive science, and how these principles can be applied in modern education. Anviksiki, which focuses on critical thinking and deep reflection, is considered to have strong relevance to cognitive science concepts such as information processing, perception, and decision-making. Methods: The method used in this research is literature study and comparative analysis, by reviewing various literatures that discuss Hindu philosophy and cognitive science in depth. The analysis shows that anviksiki can provide an additional perspective in understanding how humans think and process information, especially in the context of moral and ethical reflection. Finding: In education, the principle of anviksiki that emphasises self-reflection and critical thinking can enrich students' learning process. This concept supports active learning methods that allow students to construct their own understanding, in a way that is in line with Piaget's theory of constructivism. In addition, cognitive science provides practical insights into information processing and memory, which can be used to design more effective teaching strategies. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study confirms that anviksiki can be integrated with cognitive science to create a holistic approach to education, which enriches intellectual, ethical and reflective aspects. By combining Hindu wisdom and cognitive science insights, education can support the development of balanced individuals, who are able to think critically and understand the moral consequences of their decisions. This research reveals that Anviksiki, as a philosophy of critical thinking in the Hindu tradition, has strong relevance to concepts in modern cognitive science, particularly in analytic approaches, logic, and deductive methods. Thus, the heritage of Hindu thought not only demonstrates traditional wisdom but also presents a philosophical foundation that supports contemporary cognitive exploration. Novelty/Originality of this article: This research offers a new perspective by bridging the ancient philosophy of Anviksiki with modern cognitive science, demonstrating the continuity of concepts in the critical thinking process involving logical analysis and deductive methods. It provides new insights in understanding the contribution of the Hindu tradition of thought to the development of cognitive theory today.

Intangible cultural heritage encompasses a nation’s traditional culture and wisdom, offering a profound reflection of the lives and thoughts of its predecessors. This heritage manifests in diverse forms, including artistic performances, music, handicrafts, and festivals. Despite its cultural significance, the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage face numerous challenges in modern society. These challenges are exacerbated by rapid urbanization, globalization, and the decline of traditional practices. Previous studies have predominantly explored these issues from cultural and historical perspectives, often overlooking the critical economic factors that influence heritage preservation. This article seeks to fill this gap by examining the difficulties and problems faced by intangible cultural heritage through a comprehensive lens that includes cultural, economic, and social aspects. By analyzing these multifaceted challenges, we aim to uncover the underlying economic dynamics that hinder effective heritage preservation. Moreover, this research will propose innovative solutions to address economic challenges and enhance the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. Ultimately, this article aims to provide new perspectives and positive impacts on safeguarding intangible cultural heritage, highlighting the importance of an economic approach to its preservation and transmission to future generations.

Ayurvedic Insights into Yakrit Vikara: A Comprehensive Study on Differential Diagnosis

In Ayurveda, the concept of Koshtanga highlights the intricate interconnectedness of various body parts, with the Yakrit(liver) identified as a vital organ that plays a crucial role in the functioning of the raktavahsrotas (blood channels). The relationship between Rakta (blood) and Yakritis essential for sustaining overall health and well-being. A definitive diagnosis is paramount for providing appropriate treatment for any disease. By examining the different stages of illness and the consequential changes that occur, practitioners can achieve a more accurate diagnosis. Ayurvedic texts typically do not classify liver disorders (Yakrita Vikara) as independent entities, largely because the system's classification of diseases is predominantly based on symptoms. This paper delves into various liver-related disorders, such as Pandu, both types of Kamala, Shakhashrita, and Kosthashrita. It also discusses the different stages of Kamalaand Madya Janya Yakrita Vikara, highlighting the importance of understanding the symptoms that overlap across these conditions to aid in differential diagnosis. Furthermore, there is a pressing need for a more thorough examination of liver disorders within the framework of this ancient traditional system. By exploring the unique concepts presented in ancient Ayurvedic literature, we can enhance our understanding of liver health and broaden the scope of research into the multidimensional aspects of Yakritvikara, along with its differential diagnosis. The “Wisdom Poem” in Job 28 and its Role in Job’s Final Discourse (Job 27–31)

Abstract This article offers a fresh interpretation of Job 28 suggesting that it reflects the devout manifestation of the conventional concept of wisdom endorsed by Job’s friends. Articulated by Job, this serves as a rhetorical device in his counterargument to traditional wisdom and his challenge of God himself. The article further demonstrates that the “wisdom poem” is not an independent text but rather serves a distinct function in the rhetorical strategy of Job 27–31, which comprises Job’s final, emphatic rebuttal of his friends’ charges, framed as an oath of innocence.

Super SEI-Forming Anion for Enhanced Interfacial Stability in Solid-State Lithium Metal Batteries.

The extremely high chemical reactivity of lithium metal (Li°) electrodes and its enormous volume change during repetitive cycles cause continuous interfacial degradations in prevailing organic electrolytes, thus deteriorating the cycling performances of rechargeable lithium metal batteries (LMBs). Herein, departing from traditional wisdom on the design of electrolyte components, a super SEI-forming anion (SSA), as an efficient percussor for building stable interphases on Li° electrode, is proposed. Comprehensive investigations related to the unique anion chemistry of SSA reveal that the sulfonate and polyfluoroalkyl functionalities synergistically contribute to uniform spatial distributions of designer interfacial species, greatly improving the surface coverage property and conformal ability of the resulting interphases. Consequently, the incorporation of SSA leads to significant improvements in the cyclability of Li° electrode (exceeding 575 mAh cm-2 before failure) and the corresponding rechargeable Li°||LiFePO4 cells [a five-time increase in lifespan as compared to the benchmark cell with the popular SEI-forming anion bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (FSI)]. The present work offers a paradigm shift to tame the notorious interfacial issues via upgraded anion chemistry, which can promote the practical development of rechargeable LMBs and other kinds of metal batteries.

Power-Domain Interference Graph Estimation for Multi-hop BLE Networks

Traditional wisdom for network management allocates network resources separately for the measurement and communication tasks. Heavy measurement tasks may compete limited resources with communication tasks and significantly degrade overall network performance. It is therefore challenging for the interference graph, deemed as incurring heavy measurement overhead, to be used in practice in wireless networks. To address this challenge in wireless sensor networks, our core insight is to use power as a new dimension for interference graph estimation (IGE) such that IGE can be done simultaneously with the communication tasks using the same frequency-time resources. We propose to marry power-domain IGE with concurrent flooding to achieve simultaneous measurement and communication in BLE networks, where the power linearity prerequisite for power-domain IGE holds naturally true in concurrent flooding. With extensive experiments, we conclude the necessary conditions for the power linearity to hold and analyze several non-linearity issues of power related to hardware imperfections. We design and implement network protocols and power control algorithms for IGE in multi-hop BLE networks and conduct experiments to show that the marriage is mutually beneficial for both IGE and concurrent flooding. Furthermore, we demonstrate the potential of IGE in improving channel map convergence and convergecast in BLE networks.

“Metri Deso” in Village Cleansing Rituals As an Effort to Preserve the Local Wisdom of Javanese Culture: Phenomenological Study in Blau Hamlet, Permanu Village, Pakisaji Subdistrict, Malang Regency

“Metri Deso” or clean village is a local wisdom tradition that needs to be preserved. Blau Hamlet, Permanu Village, Pakisaji Subdistrict held a village cleanup to thank God. This study aims to determine and analyze the success of “metri deso” in preserving local wisdom. Previous research discussed a lot about community participation as an effort to clean the village and preserve Javanese culture. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that “metri deso” is a village cleaning ritual performed to preserve wisdom in the form of the nation’s religious wealth through worship and helping and showing tolerance and compassion for fellow humans. Thus, it can be concluded that in Blau hamlet of Permanu village, Pakisaji sub-district, the Javanese tradition has been well-preserved through the “metri deso” activity in the village cleaning ritual. This research contributes to adding insight into science in schools and can be used as a model for how to preserve cultural heritage in Indonesia. Keywords: metri deso, ritual, village, wisdom

As the global trade system becomes increasingly complex, achieving sustainable development, protecting the natural environment, and balancing various interests have become core issues of international concern. Integrating Chinese traditional wisdom with future trade development trends can help address current trade challenges and provide guidance for building a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable global trade system. This paper systematically explores the application and impact of Chinese traditional cultural concepts, such as “Unity of Heaven and Humanity” “Harmony is Precious” “The Doctrine of the Mean” and “Patriotism” in modern global trade. The aim is to provide a valuable reference for constructing a more sustainable and inclusive global trade system.

Gandasari Gandawangi Dance: The Transformation of Legendary Form Into Tourism Arts in Jalawastu Brebes

This article traces the transformation process of the legend of the characters Gandasari and Gandawangi into Gandasari Gandawangi Dance, created as a tourism performing art in Jalawastu Traditional Village, Brebes, Central Java. The legend narrates the story of a civil war among prominent figures embracing Islam in that region. From this narrative, a dance and music performance with an innovative tourism package highlighting Jalawastu Traditional Village's local wisdom was realized. The research methodology employed in this study is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques encompassed interviews, documentary studies, and field observations. Observations were conducted to gather data, which was subsequently analyzed to formulate the transformation process and understand the significance of the Gandasari Gandawangi Dance. This article concludes that Gandasari Gandawangi Dance is adapted from the legend and further developed with creative dance movements, thereby serving as a tourism performing art that is expected to enhance the tourism potential of Jalawastu Traditional Village.

Can Smart Technology and Traditional Wisdom Craft Truly Sustainable Built Environments?

The built environment consumes vast resources and energy but can shift from a major climate polluter to a catalyst for sustainable development, especially in urban planning. This article proposes integrating advanced technology with traditional wisdom to create smart and contextually rooted built environments. Through two case studies in Greece, it identifies four key contributions: holistic planning informed by traditional insights, multidisciplinary technology integration, resilient community-centric solutions, and convivial construction. These findings emphasise the potential for truly sustainable built environments and the importance of local practices in tackling global sustainability challenges.

Characterizing the cultural landscape of traditional Chinese settlements through genome maps

Plentiful traditional settlements are the key part of Chinese cultural heritage due to their prominent traditional cultural features and rich historical information. The rapidly growing social economy of China raises a pressing need for understanding their rich traditional knowledge and wisdom. In order to explore this issue, Cultural Landscape Genes of Traditional Settlements (CLGTS) has been proposed by Chinese scholars since 2003. Since that, it has been attracting wide attention and has made significant strides in many areas, such as urban planning and the development of tourism. However, CLGTS still faces significant difficulties in addressing the connections between the cultural elements and the entire spatial image of traditional settlements. To fill this gap, this work proposed Landscape Genome Maps of Traditional Settlements (LGMTS) based on CLGTS. First, this work clarified the definition of Landscape Genomes of Traditional Settlements (LGTS); then, this work deeply clarified the connotations of LGMTS, and addressed the relations among CLGTS, LGTS, and LGMTS. Based on these findings, this work further established the classifications of LGMTS and explored its functions. Finally, through a case study, the potential of LGMTS to catch the critical cultural features of traditional settlements was shown.

Kabata Banda & the significance of Islamic eco-theology education

The environmental crisis is a real threat to human survival. Climate change, natural disasters, and food crises are some of the devastating impacts that can have a major impact on the human population. The Banda Islands have a wide water zone with diverse marine biota but face the threat of natural disasters from active volcanoes and human behaviour that is not environmentally friendly. Historically, Banda has a tradition that is very close to coastal nature. This is revealed in their traditional song known as Kabata Belang, often sung while rowing a traditional boat (Belang) in various community cultural stages. By adopting phenomenology perspectives, this research is focused on reviewing the narration of the Fiat’ Kabata belang sacrament songs to seek out the implied values of environmental ethics and its urgency in handling coastal environmental problems in Banda Naira today. The results show that Kabata Belang contains both theological and ecological values (eco-theology) apart from being an instrument of traditional rituals. There are 13 stanzas in Fiat village Kabata Belang that are oriented towards maintaining several coastal natural objects, such as mountains, coasts, birds, and fish. The singing of the Kabata Belang as a traditional wisdom functions as an "advisor" for the people of Banda today to preserve the marine and coastal environment. This research recommends the importance of writing down the Kabata text, complete with pictures and articulations that are more accessible to the public as a guidebook, especially for the younger generation to understand better and participate in creative efforts to preserve the coastal and marine environment in their everyday lives.

Guardians of the Green: Exploring the Forest Management Wisdom of Dayak Benawan Women in West Kalimantan, Indonesia

This research delves into the ramifications of oil palm expansion on the forest stewardship methods of the Dayak Benawan community in Cowet Village, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. It particularly sheds light on the adaptive strategies of indigenous women in response to diminishing forestlands. By intersecting traditional wisdom with evolving environmental realities and economic challenges, this study offers a comprehensive perspective. Employing ethnographic methodology, the research involved conducting interviews with Dayak Benawan women, providing rich, qualitative insights.Our findings unveil a profound shift in both livelihoods and cultural practices as a direct consequence of oil palm plantation encroachment. Notably, the study quantifies the impact, revealing an 18% loss of forest area in the Sanggau Regency attributable to oil palm plantation expansion. This expansion exerts a discernible negative influence, compelling the Dayak Benawan community to undergo significant livelihood transformations. This study not only highlights the environmental and socio-cultural costs of agricultural industrialization but also stresses the resilience and adaptability of indigenous communities in the face of ecological disruption.

The relationship between the book of Daniel and prophetism has been studied for a long time. Initially, Lücke considered apocalyptic literature to be a late development of the prophetic spirit, but this idea was later challenged by Von Rad, who suggested that the apocalypse had origins in wisdom traditions. Despite this, Daniel makes reference to texts from Jeremiah and Ezekiel, which weakens Von Rad's theory. This article aims to show the influence of prophetic literature on Daniel's apocalyptic literature, from a linguistic and worldview point of view. A comparative analysis will show these influences, as there are parallels that reveal a dependent relationship between the book of Daniel and the book of Ezekiel. In this article we highlight an example with Daniel 10 and some chapters of the text of the Prophet of Ezekiel.

Indigenous Practices for Achieving Sustainable Construction

The objective of the present research is to explore the concept of sustainability in construction by examining indigenous construction practices followed in various regions of India, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that promote safe, resilient, and environmentally friendly human settlements. This study aims to investigate indigenous construction practices that have been used for generations and assess their applicability in the present context. Through the collection of qualitative data from participants, the study seeks to develop a theoretical model of sustainable construction that incorporates region-specific indigenous practices. As Constructivist Grounded Theory (CGT) lends itself useful for such theory development, we have used it as the methodology for data collection, analysis and model development. CGT enables in-depth inductive analysis of qualitative data. Data have been gathered through interviews and conversations as primary sources, supplemented by secondary sources. The study primarily focuses on key parameters such as construction materials and techniques, labour, economic considerations, and region-specific indigenous practices related to sustainable construction. This study develops a theoretical model that integrates indigenous practices with contemporary practices, and thus endeavours to bridge the past and present, offering a blend of traditional wisdom and contemporary relevance. It aims to inspire customers, architects, and engineers to reconnect with their cultural heritage and embrace local knowledge in construction practices, which have demonstrated sustainability over thousands of years. Findings from the study pave the way for better environmental management through sustainable indigenous construction practices.
