Design and Test of Control System of RF Ion Source Test Platform Based on Industrial PLC

Combined with the experimental operation requirements of the radio frequency ion source test platform, a set of the control system is designed with S7-1200 series PLC which is based on TIA Portal and WinCC configuration software. It realizes the monitoring and management of the RF ion source performance test experiment. In order to visualize the operation of the test platform, a fully graphical monitoring interface is designed. And the system has functions such as timing control, real-time status monitoring, parameter setting, data acquisition and recording, historical data query, and alarm recording. After experimental testing, the system meets the control requirements of the ion source performance testing platform and is of great significance for the fault diagnosis and safe operation of the test platform system.

Analysis and Research on the Automatic Control Systems of Oil–Water Baffles in Horizontal Three-Phase Separators

The three-phase separator is one of the most important pieces of equipment in the combined station of the oilfield. The control level of the oil–water interface directly affects the energy consumption of the subsequent production of the combined station and the effect of oil, gas and water separation. In order to avoid these situations, the Siemens PLC control system, configuration software WinCC and MATLAB were used. The OPC technology is used to connect communication between WinCC and MATLAB, and the genetic algorithm in MATLAB is used to obtain the optimal separation height of the oil–water interface under the produced liquid in different periods. Subsequently, through the Siemens PLC system and WinCC configuration software, the automatic control of the three-phase separator is achieved, and finally the water content of crude oil is significantly reduced. The system provides a visual interface function. In the future, it will also provide an effective simulation platform for the theoretical research and design of an automatic control system of an oilfield combined station.

Design of Gas Drainage Monitoring System Based on Siemens S7-1500 PLC and WinCC

In order to ensure the reliable and stable operation of the gas drainage system and ensure the safe production of coal mines, a gas drainage monitoring system is designed. The monitoring system adopts Siemens S7-1500 series PLC as the core control unit. By configuring function modules and cooperating with WinCC configuration software to carry out the program design of the upper computer, the one-key control and automatic regulating of the gas drainage system is realized. The monitoring system adopts smart sensors, and improves the anti-interference ability of the system through digital signal transmission, adopts PID and cascade PID advanced control strategies to control the flow and pressure, and improves the regulating accuracy of the drainage system, adopts the limit threshold method and data mutation method combined with early warning reduces the unplanned shutdown of the drainage pump and improves the working efficiency of the drainage pump.

Design of Fully Intelligent Quality Error Prevention System for Tobacco Production Line Based on Configuration Software and PLC Program

Aiming at the problems of wrong brand, mixed batch and wrong transmission of electronic parameter information in the production of cut tobacco of different brands in the tobacco industry, a fully intelligent quality error prevention system based on WinCC configuration software and PLC distributed control program is designed. The information of the production and manufacturing execution system in the general control room and the brand, batch and other information stored in the PLC of the bottom electric control cabinet is compared and verified instead of manual self-inspection. If the information is consistent, production is allowed. Otherwise, the equipment locks itself and sends alarm feedback. The design and application of the system realize the automatic error prevention of process equipment and the implementation accuracy of production control parameters, to ensure that the production process meets the requirements of process technology, effectively avoid major quality accidents, and finally guarantee the product quality.

Design of Car Washing Control System Based on PLC

In order to improve the efficiency of car wash and reduce the labor intensity of car washers. According to the process flow of automatic car washing and its characteristics of simple operation, high efficiency, convenience and stable operation, an automatic car washing control system based on PLC is designed, and WinCC configuration software is selected as the upper computer as the man-machine interface design. The simulation results show that the system has strong stability, improves the automation of car washing and meets the actual needs.

Design of Liquid Level Control System Based on Simulink and PLC

Development of a measurement and control system for a 10 kW@20 K refrigerator based on Siemens PLC S7-300

A 10 kW@20 K refrigerator has been established by the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A measurement and control system based on Siemens PLC S7-300 for this 10 kW@20 K refrigerator is developed. According to the detailed measurement requirements, proper sensors and transmitters are adopted. Siemens S7-300 PLC CPU315-2 PN/DP operates as a master station. Two sets of ET200M DP remote expand I/O, one power meter, two compressors and one vacuum gauge operate as slave stations. Profibus-DP field communication and Modbus communication are used between the master station and the slave stations in this control system. The upper computer HMI (Human Machine Interface) is compiled using Siemens configuration software WinCC V7.0. The upper computer communicates with PLC by means of industrial Ethernet. After commissioning, this refrigerator has been operating with a 10 kW of cooling power at 20 K for more than 72 hours.

The structure and the main function of this system and its hardware and software were discussed. Taking PLC of the S7-400H type which has redundancy function as the control unit, and utilizing WinCC configuration software as the monitoring software, then it is realized that the main ventilator automatically reverse without stopping and its running state can be real-time dynamically monitored. The level of reliability and automation was improved.

MULTI-ENERGY COUPLING SYSTEM BASED ON PLC AND WINCC

Development of a Measurement and Control System for a 40l/h Helium Liquefier based on Siemens PLC S7-300

A 40l/h Helium Liquefier has been commissioned by the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A measurement and control system based on Siemens PLC S7-300 for this Helium Liquefier is developed. Proper sensors are selected, for example, three types of transmitters are adopted respectively according to detailed temperature measurement requirements. Siemens S7-300 PLC CPU315-2PN/DP operates as a master station and three sets of ET200M DP remote expand I/O operate asslave stations. Profibus-DP field communication is used between the master station and the slave stations. The upper computer HMI(Human Machine Interface) is compiled using Siemens configuration software WinCC V7.0. The upper computer communicates with PLC by means of industrial Ethernet. A specific control logic for this Helium Liquefier is developed. The control of the suction and discharge pressures of the compressor and the control of the turbo-expanders loop are being discussed in this paper. Following the commissioning phase, the outlet temperature of the second stage turbine has reached 8.6K and the temperature before the throttle valve has reached 13.1K.
