The reflections undertaken in this study focus on the subjective aspect of the insurance system. Primarily, it concerns explanations regarding the conditions of households' subjectivity in utilizing insurance protection, especially private insurance protection. The discussion emphasizes that the issue of household subjectivity in the insurance system, despite the care for legislative correctness in the social insurance system and the apparent adherence to statutory principles of analysing client needs and requirements by private insurance companies, is generally seen vaguely and uncritically, both in theoretical considerations and in practical insurance assessments. These accusations can be reduced to the superficial description and explanation of the social security system's structure and the insufficient explanation of the fundamental principles of offering and using private insurance protection.
